The region of Davos (Tafaas in the Walser dialect of German) includes nearly the entire Landwasser Valley in the Swiss canton of Grisons. The political municipality, with numerous settlements, is made up of the six fraction communities of Davos Dorf, Davos Platz, Davos Frauenkirch, Davos Glaris, Davos Monstein and Davos Wiesen; they make up Davos county in the Prättigau-Davos district.

Davos Monstein

Davos Frauenkirch
is a part of the Davos municipality. It is located at 1,505 m altitude between Davos Platz and Davos Glaris and has 442 inhabitants.

Davos Glaris
is a part of the Davos municipality, a Walser settlement in the Swiss canton of Grisons. The village is located at 1,457 m altitude on the Landwasser, below the Rinerhorn, which is a ski area accessible by cable car. The 30 km² area has 441 inhabitants.

Davos Wiesen
